“What is Prayer: Journeys through artistic practice” showcases the works of Dr. Ella Whateley during the artist in residence of the Visual Art Program of FSRD ITB as a visiting professor. Most of her works are inspired by the expression of in-betweenness in religious practices, as well as her experience observing worship rituals (sholat, zikir, and tahlil) practiced by Muslims in Indonesia.
