Obituary – Dr. Dibyo Hartono

It is with great sadness that we write of the passing of Dr. Dibyo Hartono, who passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was a well-respected lecturer from Human and Industrial Product Design Research Group, Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD), Institut Teknologi Bandung. He dedicated his life by teaching at Product Design Program FSRD ITB.

Dr. Dibyo Hartono was also involved in Bandung Cultural Preservation Association or known as Bandung Heritage which plays a role in assisting the government and the community in preserving Bandung’s heritage. He was also active in the West Java Indonesian Architectural Association (IAI).

May all his deeds of worship be accepted by Allah SWT. His memory will live on in the hearts and minds of thousands of students he taught and inspired, as well as in the hearts and minds of his many friends and colleagues.
