Dr. Willy Himawan, M.Sn. and Hendhy Nansha, M.Sn., M.H. visited Australian National University
Dr. Willy Himawan, S.Sn., M.Sn. and Hendhy Nansha, M.Sn., M.H., lecturers from FSRD ITB visited the School of Art and Design, Australian National University to discuss the academic collaboration between FSRD ITB and the School of Art Design, Australian National University (SOAD ANU). Accompanied by Dr. Chaitanya Sambrani and Dr. Béatrice Bijon, they had a meeting with the Dean of the School of Art Design, Australian National University (SOAD ANU), Prof. Mitchell Whitelaw, to discuss the possibility of joint activity such as student exchange, staff exchange, joint research, and joint seminar. On this occasion, they also discussed the development of new directions in the discipline of fine arts and design towards current issues such as global warming, sustainability, and accessibility and the collaborative plan to develop metal and glass-based workshops at Kriya Cirebon. During this visit, they also had an academic interaction in the classroom, studio, and environment of the School of Art Design, Australian National University.
Dr. Willy Himawan, S.Sn., M.Sn. and Hendhy Nansha, M.Sn., M.H. also had an agenda to meet Education & Culture Attaché Prof. Mukhamad Najib and the Assistant of Minister, Mr. Gunarmand Nainggolan to discuss the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Australia for academic collaboration between FSRD ITB and SOAD ANU. This meeting was also was also attended by Dr. Chaitanya Sambrani & Dr. Béatrice Bijon from the ANU School of Art & Design (SOAD). On the same occasion, Dr. Willy Himawan, S.Sn., M.Sn. and Hendhy Nansha, M.Sn., M.H. had the opportunity to take a selfie with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia for Australia, H.E. Dr. Siswo Pramono, amid his busy life.
