SMARTEX One Day Symposium “Smart Textile from Research to Fashion and Lifestyle”

Undergraduate Program in Craft FSRD ITB through the SMARTEX Program held a one-day international symposium entitled Smart Textile from Research to Fashion and Lifestyle on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Design Centre, CADL Building, ITB Ganesa. 

At this symposium, speakers from Malaysia, India, and Indonesia shared some insights about the development of smart textile, from the research to the market. The speakers are Bintan Titisari, Ph.D. (Institut Teknologi Bandung), Ida Nuramdhani, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Politeknik STTT Bandung), Prof. Dr. Bilal Zahid (NED University), Dr. Nor Dalila Nor Affandi (UITM Malaysia), Nur Ain Arina binti Johan, BEngTech (UTHM Johor) and Clareta Milena, S.Ds. (ITB Alumnus from Undergraduate Program in Craft ITB). They are the expert and practitioners of smart textiles.

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) has been one of the university partners in SMARTEX program since 2020 under the lead of the Undergraduate Program in Craft, Faculty of Art and Design. SMARTEX is co-funded by Erasmus+.
