The Undergraduate Program in Craft FSRD ITB in the Sustainable Crafts course (KR3035) held the final round of Upcycling Textile Waste Projects on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. This is a collaborative program among the Undergraduate Program in Craft FSRD ITB, PT

In this final round, six groups of students from the Undergraduate Program in Craft and Undergraduate Program in Environmental Engineering presented two designs of upcycling clothing from textile waste, which have been in the works since October 2021. Previously, representatives from PT Hollit International and Closed Loop Fashion had delivered material on sustainability and circularity in the ITB Ecoweek webinar 2021. Some students took part in this program through 3 credits MBKM activities.
The group of students who won 1st place in the final presentation is the “Before Dawn” Group, consisting of Vania Gracia Roestanto, Bagaskara Panuluh Jagad, Naritsa Alifia Fatin, and Chiko Jovial Widodo. The winner of this Upcycling Textile Waste Project will be included in several events and publications including Fashion Revolution and Eco Fashion Week Australia 2022, as well as getting the opportunity to do an internship at PT Hollit International.
