Interpreting the Global/Local Culture against the Challenge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

We are excited to extend an invitation to you and your esteemed colleagues to participate in the upcoming Bandung International Conference for Cultural Studies (BaiconFocus) 2024 with the theme “Interpreting the Global/Local Culture against the Challenge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning”. This event will discuss the impact of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) on global and local culture. The conference will be held on October 16-17, 2024, at the Faculty of Arts and Design, Institut Teknologi Bandung.

We invite you to submit your research related to the conference theme, covering but not limited to the following sub-themes:

Conference papers will undergo a blind peer review process and must be the result of original research. All papers must be written in English and presented at the conference by one of the designated authors.
Abstract must be in English, not exceeding 200 words or one page, and should follow the provided abstract template (linktr.ee/baiconfocus). Authors must submit the abstract through this link linktr.ee/baiconfocus. Deadline for Abstract Submission: June 15, 2024. The event will feature daily panel and parallel sessions, offering a platform for insightful discussions and networking opportunities.
